Texas Farm Bureau has withdrawn their bid to offer lower premiums to homeowners in Texas in exchange for policy language agreeing to settle any disputed claims through arbitration, thereby signing away any right to sue. Advocates for the consumer “cheered” the withdrawal of the proposition which some called “a raw deal for consumers.”
